Life Group ministry exists to help the people of The Gathering Church to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ, and
experience gospel-centered community.

Why Life Groups?
Life Groups are the primary expression of biblical fellowship at The Gathering. They’re a place for you to study God’s Word alongside others and experience accountability, encouragement, and support. Your community group is a place to be known and know others.
Life Group involvement is one of our main strategies to instruct, counsel, and mobilize our church. Each Life Group is envisioned to be a place for:

Intimate Community to grow in Christ side by side;

Regular and mutual encouragement and care; and
-
A safe place to grow mature disciples
A Life Group at The Gathering is designed to encourage Christians to live the Christian life deeply and in community together. It follows the pattern of practice seen in some of the very first believers (Acts 2:42-47) who worshipped together, lived out what they learned from God’s Word, enjoyed meaningful fellowship, and made prayer a priority.
Season 2 of Life Groups will be meeting on bi-weekly WEDNESDAY nights with men and women meeting every other week, beginning with the men on Wednesday, January 17th, 6:30 - 8:00pm at the church. The women will follow on Wednesday, January 24th. If you're already part of the Life Group ministry from the fall season, then you do not need to reapply. If you are new to Life Groups this year, please register below!
What to Expect?
This winter, all of our Life Groups will be meeting on bi-weekly WEDNESDAY nights with men and women meeting every other week, beginning with the men on Wednesday, January 17th, 6:30 - 8:00pm at the church. The women will follow from 6:30 - 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 24th.
A Life Group meets to praise and pray, study the Bible, and enjoy mutual accountability (men with men, women with women).
This season we will be partnering with our friends at Answers in Genesis as we utilize their Answers Bible Curriculum. This material was developed to present the gospel, beginning in Genesis, to all generations; to train believers to know, obey, and defend God’s Word; and to encourage believers to become conformed to the image of Christ.

Who Can Join a Life Group?
Life Group ministry at The Gathering is intended for people who attend The Gathering Church. Partnership at The Gathering is not required to attend any of the groups.
To register for a Life Group, just complete the registration form above and we will be in contact with you.
As isolated individuals, we cannot reach the level of maturity God has destined for us. It only happens as we live in a loving redemptive community where we celebrate the many facets of the gospel.
